Sixth in the cycle, Snake years follow on from the Dragon and recur every twelfth year thereafter. Ancient Chinese wisdom holds that having a Snake in the household is always a good omen, since it means the family will never starve. Whether this is because Snake-born folk are shrewd in business, intuitive in their dealings, or tenacious over their assets, one way or another they manage to attract money. It is unsurprising, therefore, that they are known as the guardians of the treasure. However, this need not refer simply to wealth; metaphorically, it may allude to the Snake person’s wisdom and depth of understanding.
wishing you a happy Year of the Snake（蛇年快樂）!
